Landscape (Un)Folded - Book
A large image was printed in black and white, cut it into 6 horizontal tracks, to then fold each of these tracks to a leporello and put them, one after the other together, as a book. Browsing through the book thus becomes a stroll across the image landscape: from ahead backwards — from the image bottom to its top — through the shifting layers of the urban structure and through the playfully changing, yet formally uniform cubes and squares of the houses, piled one above the other, until one encounters the horizon, the sky. Here the picture is transfered into a haptic structure to be read in time — the book.
